一封老师自己写的+一封白人朋友代写的推荐信

15Fall者，使用了三封，其中一个老师是暑期项目的校外老板，她的推荐信我一直都不知道写了什么。另外两个老师是本校的，一个亲自为我写的，没有参考我为她拟的草稿。另一个是一个白人朋友照着我的思路写的，措辞太华美了，以至于这个老师把太多太过溢美的话删掉了。XXXXDDDD
参考价值可能有限，但是希望对未来的学弟学妹们申请有所帮助~
这是第一个老师亲笔写的：
Dear Sir/Madam,For the past three years I have known XXXX, he is anextraordinary student in his major study and social intercourse. Ienthusiastically support his graduate application for XXXX program at ZZZZ. I have interacted with XXX in several contexts: as student, asmember of class committee and as friend. XXX has enrolled in my XXXXX classlast semester. The course requires the students to understand XXXXXX and to XXXX. As theteacher, I have the opportunity to observe the students’ participation andinteraction in class and to evaluate their knowledge and interests in this subject.I would rate XXXXX’s overall performance in this course as superior, which isevidenced by his transcript. Moreover, XXXX shows great interests in learningcomputer languages and using them to solve statistical problems. He would noticeevery subtle problem in a program or a function, and raise questions about it.I believe it takes effort and time to find the problem and interests to seekperfection and thorough understanding. Sometimes when I cannot answer thequestions he asked, he would work the solutions out and understand them byhimself or with others’ help. This requires endeavor, cooperation and completecomprehension. As a member of class committee, XXXX is self-disciplined, extrovertedand influential. Every class activity needs to be discussed and organized byclass committee. I remember XXXXXXXXXX. And he XXXXXX. The XXXXX was successful and highly appraised by everybody. Through this process, XXXXXX showed his intellect, enthusiasm for helping and confidence. I have known XXXXXX from the start of his freshman year ashis instructor of study and college life. Besides my course he enrolled, I knowhe have done preeminent work in many others. I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation letter for Mr. XXXX in support of his application to your doctoral program. Every undergraduate student in our department is assigned an instructor to guide their study and help them navigate college life. During the two years I have known XXXXX as his advisor, he has proven himself to be inquisitive, hardworking and charismatic. From the first time I met him, I was impressed by his excellent questions, motivation and obvious intelligence. Unlike most other students I came into contact with who focused solely on cultivating competitive strengths, his questions seemed to be motivated by a desire for self-exploration in order to discover his life passion. He impressed me more and more as time went on, and watching him on his academic journey as an undergraduate has made me confident that he is in the right field of study.
I taught XXXXX WWWWW last semester. His score may not be exceptionally high, but his performance in this class was nonetheless distinguished. He stood out from the crowd for his pursuit of perfection and his thoughtful questions . As&&is the case with many other statistics courses, my course required students to solve PPPPPP using programming. It is in this area that XXXXX’s skills were especially apparent. He attended another graduate course – EEEEEEEE – taught by me this semester. This course aims at students who have grasped RRRRRRRRRRR, making it difficult for undergraduates. Although XXXXXX has only attended several classes, he raised questions concerning XXXXXXXX, which is quite impressive for his level.
XXXXXX has actively searched for opportunities to perform research related to his interests. At start of this year, XXXXXX and his two classmates applying for funding to support a research project in which they are interested. They wanted to XXXXXXXXXXXXX . Under XXXXXX’s leadership, they constructed a strong proposal with an excellent framework that exhibited a deep understanding of XXXXXX. They faced intense competition for limited funding and, although their proposal was not ultimately selected, XXXXXXXX’s dedication in assembling this proposal exemplifies the initiative he’s taken as a student and his drive to accomplish his goals. Despite this little setback, XXXXXXX came to my office and asked my advice on his intention to do XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I think he was quite sure that he would devote himself to researching XXXXXXXX, and he is willing to do that.
In closing, XXXXXXXXX is one of the best students with whom I have had the pleasure of working. I truly believe that XXXXXXXX’s extraordinary academic competence, passionate attitude towards learning, and enthusiastic commitment to his academic endeavors will allow him excel in his future career. Umich的推荐信link怎么发送？可以暂时只填写一个推荐人吗？

Umich官网说：You may register your recommenders in ApplyWeb before completing your application. In ApplyWeb select “Submit Recommendation Request” to confirm, and proceed with the application at your own pace before the graduate program deadline.
但是并没有在的网申页面找到“submit recommendation request”的选项，怎么能在提交前把推荐信寄出去呢？. 1point3acres.com/bbs
以及，我目前暂时刚刚和一个推荐人联系好，是否可以先填一个人的信息，把link发给这个人。以后另外再给别的老师发request呢？-google 1point3acres

刚看到，不好意思~ 其实只需要选择“使用online system”那个选项，就会跳出来submit的按钮，不一定要把推荐人的信息填完。

刚去找老师说推荐信的事被严词拒绝，接下来怎么办

由于本科毕业了好几年，所以是我本科同学带我过去的，老师是他现在的导师，本科时候也跟我们上过课。本以为应该比较顺利的，结果惨状啊。老师一听说是出国要的事，立马脸色变了，转身就走了。
原来是以前有个学生找他要推荐信的过程把他搞得很烦，现在就非常反感这件事。哎，第一个找的老师就这样了。跟同学商量了下，接下来就打算通过邮件先跟系里面的目标老师联系一下，试探一下有没有这个意愿，同时自我介绍一下，也跟老师解释一下他需要做些什么，这样会不会比直接上门去拦截老师好呢？不知道你们遇到过这事没有，有没有什么好主意啊？在此谢过了！！！

这简直是太好了，我那个老师可能是真的已经很反感了吧，所以我一跟他讲推荐信他就态度很恶劣，表示不会帮我搞任何东西。不过我下午邮件联系了另外一个老师，问可不可以去找他当面说，他答应了。希望这一个能顺利吧。

你找的老师是本来就认识你或者很熟悉的吗？
还有，提交推荐信的具体过程要怎么跟他讲呢，直接说‘你把收到了邮件转发给我，我来填信息和提交推荐信’的话，这样不太好吧；但是如果不这样说清楚的话，又怕老师会觉得这是个很繁琐的事情，因为要填十所学校的推荐表。所以很矛盾啊

主要是因为怕电话里解释不清楚我要他具体做一些什么，怕老师觉得事情很繁琐要花很多时间。我找的老师不是大忙人啦，不敢找大忙人，离开学校有几年了。
