MPA(公共管理)备考那些事
很幸运地被某自主划线高校的MPA专硕录取。去年12月24日笔试。记得很清楚,一因为考试时间一般都是12月最后一个星期六。二是因为当天是平安夜,上午3小时,下午3小时,在考场坐了6个小时后,晚上狂吃了一顿西餐,还喝了杯mango six。一开始没有抱很大的希望,真正复习的时间很短。今年3月份中旬有惊无险地通过了复试。现在等着政审。在准备考试的过程中,发现网上关于双证在职研究生的考试内容、真题不多,基本上都关于全日制研究生考试,也就是纯在校学习的研究生。当时贴吧、百度知道都刷过了,也没有找到很多有用的信息。所以作为过来人,想和大家分享一下我复习以及考试的心得。我会尽可能把每个涉及的模块都解析清楚。希望能给已经工作满3年并且想在公共管理领域继续深造的亲提供一些小帮助。

二、考试内容
一共考察两门——综合和英语。综合又主要分成三个模块,初等数学、逻辑、写作。英语分成主观题(翻译、写作)和客观题(阅读理解选择题),没有听力。听力不好的小伙伴可以松一口气。总分300分,其中综合200分,英语100分。注意:在职MPA英语考的是英语二,全日制考的是英语一,英语二相对来说难度降低许多。
三、学习材料
1.综合:建议购买机械工业出版社的MBA、MPA、MPACC入学考试综合能力辅导教材,紫色封面。一本教材囊括了综合科目所有的模块。对于既要上班又要复习的小伙伴来说,性价比比较高,因为这本是最基础的教材,其它教辅可能例题多、内容讲的很细,相信大家也没有很多精力去看。如果你追求高分,那的确可以买那些分模块的专项教辅。
2.英语:建议购买华研外语历年真题指月之手。可能也有其它出版社出的英语真题,由于我大学考四、六级一直买的都是华研英语,用着觉得很不错,所以首选了它。阅读理解每个句子都有中文翻译,重难句还有详细的分析。装订方式是一套卷子一本,便于携带和整理。随册附赠了单词本和必考题源The Economist《经济学人》40篇。
四、复习思路(本文的精华所在,我会一个一个模块解析。)
1.----------综合----------1.1数学模块:不会考微积分这样的高等数学,考察的主要内容都是初高中数学。数学模块全都是选择题。很多基本的数学公式都忘记了,可以翻看紫皮书的数学模块,顺便把例题也做了。
数学模块还有一类特色题型——判断充分必要性,就是给出(1)(2)两个条件,要求判断是题干的充分条件还是必要条件。紫皮书中每个知识点后都有这样的例题,把概念、公式搞懂,对判断有帮助。
1.2逻辑模块:紫皮书逻辑编写的很复杂,如果你耐得下心看最好。我有一个自己的心得。有些人经历过公考或者是逻辑相关专业,对逻辑有一定的基础,自己考下来觉得题目没有公考的逻辑题难,时间也相对宽裕,考完对答案,我错了2个;有些人一点也没有接触过,也没关系。我推荐可以利用公考的题库APP直接刷题,也有网页版 专刷逻辑判断这一模块,其它的跟考试无关。例如粉笔公考APP,答案分析的很详细。一开始可能觉得比较搞脑子,多刷刷就有感觉了,也能发现套路。
例如:小王、小张、小赵、小刘四人讨论比赛四强的甲、乙、丙、丁四个队伍哪个将获得冠军。小王:“乙是冠军。”小张:“冠军是丁或丙。”小赵:“冠军是甲或丁。”小刘:“甲和丙不是冠军。”结果出来后,只有两个人的推断是正确的,冠军是?寺院里丢失了一袋香火钱,方丈找到甲、乙、丙三个小和尚来询问,三个人逐一陈述,甲说:“我没偷。”乙说:“甲偷了。”丙说:“我没偷。”在一旁的丁了解真相,并发表意见说:“你们三个人中只有一个人偷了,且只有一个人说对了。” 请问,他们三人中到底谁偷了香火钱?
第一步:像这样说真话假话的题,先找到矛盾的地方。不管是谁,都是要么偷了要么没偷,只有这两种情况。甲说甲自己没偷,乙说甲偷了,两人的说话矛盾了,那么要么甲说谎要么乙说谎,甲乙之中一定有一个人说假话,一个人说真话。第二步:找到矛盾的点后击破它,回过去看题干只有一个人说对了,那么此时丙肯定说了假话。丙说自己没偷,他说的是假话,那么丙就是小偷。
1.3写作模块:1.3.1论证有效性分析:题目是这样给的:分析下述论证中存在的缺陷和漏洞,选择若干要点,写一篇600字左右的文章,对该论证的有效性进行分析和评论。(论证有效性分析的一般要点是:概念特别是核心概念的界定和使用是否准确并前后一致,有误各种明显的逻辑错误,论证的证据是否成立并支持结论,结论成立的条件是否充分等等。)我的理解就是逻辑找错,给你一篇有逻辑漏洞的文章,让你分析有什么逻辑错误。常见的就是,因推不出果,单因(忽略了其它因素)推结果,因果倒置、前后矛盾等等。要求论证或反驳有力,结构严谨,条理清楚,语言精练流畅。这类的分析有它固定的范式,紫皮书里有范文,网上相关的讲解和模板也很多,你们学习和总结一下套路,基本框架就是三段式总分总,这个没必要自己创新。有些句子考试时可以直接用来套的,例如
这一判断过于绝对,不能成为论据,因此无法证明XX与XX的有效性。除了XX这一重要条件之外,还取决于其他条件。XXX可见其分析的草率和荒唐XXX值得商榷
1.3.2大作文:给出一个主题,围绕主题写。这和议论文有些相似,需要例子来补充自己的论点。这个也可以看一些模板,找找感觉,另外积累几个商业案例,以备写作的时候支撑观点。
2.----------英语----------在职研究生至少要有3年工作经验(从本科毕业到研究生入学前满3年就可以了),平时工作环境也用不到英语,英语就荒废了。英语很重要,因为除了总分要过线,还有单科线,有些小伙伴过了总分,但是英语成绩没到,很可惜地被刷下来了。也有励志的故事,考研群里一位30+男士说自已英语差的可怕,上下班放弃开车天天坐地铁,背了两个月单词,逆袭78分(满分100)。英语难度我认为介于4、6级之间,没有听力,作文模板性很强,所以难度不会超过6级。(我自己感觉今年题目不是很难,做往年真题,有些文章看起来很费力。)
2.1复习单词:看你英语程度,提前几个月开始背词汇:下载百词斩APP,我选的是考研核心计划,每天20个。自己的英语水平也就是四六级一次性过线的那种(四级550+,记不清了),不是特别好,但对于应试英语稍有一些心得。单词过一遍唤起了以前的一些记忆。对于基础薄弱的在职考生来说,最起码看到这些词汇能反应出来中文是什么意思。
2.2多做真题:单词是一个个的个体,如何理解一句句子还需要在实战中训练。时间有限,所以必须从真题开始做起,死磕真题。不管答案是否正确,每题都要看详解,它会给你很多启发,例如如何分解长的主从句。之前提到买真题附赠的题源The Economist《经济学人》40篇,我自己就看过一遍,能了解国外经济、商业、科技等方面的最新趋势,作为常识储备。有些生涩的文章不可能每句话都看懂,不知道你们有没有这种感觉,一句关键的句子没看懂或者题目选项没看懂,这时候只能结合常识猜了。
2.3背模板:如果你善于总结,会发现历年的两篇作文,无非就是围绕着写信(邀请函)和图表(pie,chart)分析。写信的具体内容不一样,给新室友介绍自己,或者介绍学校的暑期活动等等。但是套路是一样的,写信格式,如何开头,如何结尾,还有一些关键句子都要背。图表分析类的也是,表示数据上升、下降的几种不同说话,如何描述数据,怎么简单分析数据......都可以总结,很容易提高。具体考什么内容这些能提前准备的,为什么不准备起来呢。

五、备考节点及注意事项
9月-关注全国硕士研究生招生考试网(研招网) 和你想要报考学校的官网,会出招生简章。少部分学校是自主划分数线,大多是全国统一线。
10月-研招网报名注意只能选一个学校,如果分数线没到这学校,后续只能调剂了。所以报名前要比较一下前一年的分数线。
11月-现场确认
12月-考试综合3个小时3个模块,我建议这样来安排时间:一个小时搞定一个模块。不要以为3个小时很长,我做下来的感觉时间正好,没有多出很多时间。英语跳过第一篇选词填空,因为它的分值是1分,而后面的阅读理解是2分一题,最后再抓紧做选词填空。
以上是我自己的一些切身感悟,仅供参考。

  How to Improve Your Study Habits
  Terhaps you are an average student with average intelligence. You do well enough in school, but you probably think you will never be a top student. This is not necessarily the case, however. You can receive better grades if you want to. Yes, even students of average intelligence can be top students without additional work. Here&s how:
  1. Plan your time carefully. Make a list of your weekly tasks. Then make a schedule or chart of your time. Fill in committed time such as eating, sleeping, meetings, classes, etc. Then decide on good, regular times for studying. Be sure to set aside enough time to complete your normal reading and work assignments. Of course, studying shouldn&t occupy all of the free time on the schedule. It&s important to set aside time for relaxation, hobbies, and entertainment as well. This weekly schedule may not solve all of your problems, but it will make you more aware of how you spend your time. Furthermore, it will enable you to plan your activities so that you have adequate time for both work and play.
  2. Find a good place to study. Choose one place for your study area. It may be a desk or a chair at home or in the school library, but it should be comfortable, and it should not have distractions. When you begin to work, you should be able to concentrate on the subject.
  3. Skim before you read. This means looking over a passage quickly before you begin to read it more carefully. As you preview the material, you get some idea of the content and how it is organized. Later when you begin to read you will recognize less important material and you may skip some of these portions. Skimming helps double your reading speed and improves your comprehension as well.
  4. Make good use of your time in class. Listening to what the teacher says in class means less work later. Sit where you can see and hear well. Take notes to help you remember what the teacher says.
  5. Study regularly. Go over your notes as soon as you can after class. Review important points mentioned in class as well as points you remain confused about. Read about these points in your textbook. If you know what the teacher will discuss the next day, skim and read that material too. This will help you understand the next class. If you review your notes and textbook regularly, the material will become more meaningful and you will remember it longer. Regular review leads to improved performance on test.
  6. Develop a good attitude about tests. The purpose of a test is to show what you have learned about a subject. The world won&t end if you don&t pass a test, so don&t worry excessively about a single test. Tests provide grades, but they also let you know what you need to spend more time studying, and they help make your knowledge permanent.
  There are other techniques that might help you with your studying. Only a few have been mentioned here. You will probably discover many others after you have tried these. Talk with your classmates about their study techniques. Share with them some of the techniques you have found to be helpful. Improving your study habits will improve your grades.
