　　Yunnan University, founded in 1922, is one of the earliest comprehensive universities in the southwest China. It was recognized by the Concise Encyclopedia Britannica, in 1946, as one of the fifteen world-renowned universities in China. 云南大学国际学院简介
云南大学位于中国云南省省会昆明，这里四季如春，繁花似锦。云南大学于1922年成立，1923年开始招生，是中国西南边疆最早建立的综合性大学之一。1946年，英国《简明大不列颠百科全书》将云南大学列入中国15所世界著名大学之一。作为云南省唯一一所实施国家“211工程”（21世纪中国100所重点高校）的大学，其学科门类齐全、教学与科研人才密集。21世纪初，由于云南大学在对外汉语教学工作方面成绩突出，中华人民共和国国家汉语国际推广领导小组办公室将云南大学列为全国10所支持周边国家汉语教学重点院校之一，多次承办国家汉办培训项目，并指定学校为汉语水平考试（HSK）考点，涵盖初、中、高级等级别。

云南大学招收外国留学生攻读本科学士学位招生简章
一、招收类别
招收自费全日制攻读本科学位学生；
二、招生专业
我校公布的云南大学本科生招生简章所列专业均可招收外国留学生。查询网址：http://www.sie.
三、报考条件
1.品德良好，愿意遵守中国的法律、法规及云南大学校纪校规，尊重我国的社会公德和风俗习惯。
2.年龄达到18周岁。
3.身体健康状况符合国家教育部颁布的“外国来华留学生健康检查标准”。
4.申请来华攻读本科学位者，还需满足以下条件：
①来华攻读本科学位者，须高中或同等学历毕业并具备相关证书；
②来华攻读汉语言相关专业本科学位者，汉语水平考试（HSK）须通过三级；
③来华攻读非汉语言相关专业本科学位者，汉语水平考试（HSK）须通过四级。
四、申请办法
1.(1)根据校际间或两国其他部门间的交流计划拟来华攻读本科学位者，按校际或其他部门间达成的协议办理申请手续; (2)在国外或已在华的符合入学资格的个人，可以采取函报或现场报名等方式直接向我校国际学院外联部办公室提出申请。
2. 申请者应缴验的材料
①在云南大学国际学院网站上下载《云南大学国际学院入学申请表》（网址：/downloads/ )，按要求认真填写，并贴上照片。
②高中毕业证书原件或公证件，应届生需《预计毕业证明》原件。
③高中阶段全部课程的成绩单原件或公证件。
④护照复印件（有效期内的普通护照），护照照片六张。
⑤如有可以证明自己综合能力的文件，如获奖证书、有关推荐信等，可在申请时一并提交，本校在录取时会适当优先考虑。
⑥以上资料如非中、英文文本，需提供公证过的中文或英文翻译件。
五、申请时间及地点
1. 每年3月1日至7月31日。由本人或委托他人现场办理报名手续，也可邮寄材料报名，邮寄材料须在申请截止日期前寄到。

申请材料汇总后，资格审查通过者录取结果在云南大学国际学院网站公布，并通过电子邮件及时反馈给申请者，录取通知书随后寄发。
入学时间为每年九月，具体日期以录取通知书为准。
七、入学报到
被录取的来华留学本科生持普通护照、录取通知书和JW201表（或JW202表）和《外国人体格检查记录》到中国大使馆申请来华留学签证报到。入学报到具体时间及要求以发出的“入学须知”为准，新生报到时，应向国际学院留学生服务中心办公室出具上述文件。
如有特殊原因不能报到者，须以书面形式提前向国际学院请假（电话：+86-871-），无故逾期两周不报到者，将取消其入学资格。
八、住宿安排
住宿由国际学院留学生服务中心办公室按照留学生报到情况协调统一安排。（电话：+86-871-）
九、学习年限
我校本科生实行弹性学制，学习年限一般为3-6年。具体培养方案由各相关培养单位制定后报云南大学教务处审定。
十、收费标准
报名费用:320元/人，未被录取或放弃录取资格的考生，该项费用不予退还。

外国留学生应按照国家教育部和学校规定向学校缴纳学费。学费按学年收取，于开学注册前缴纳，也可按学制一次缴纳。
住宿费收费标准：双人间450元/月/人。外国留学生的住宿费可于每学期初按年一次全部收取；特殊情况下，也可准其按月缴纳。
4. 教材费：600元/人/年（自愿购买）
5.保险费：600元/人/年或800元/人/年，按照国家规定缴纳。
6.居留许可费：400元/人/年，按照国家规定缴纳。
7.健康证费用：450元/人/年。
十一、培养
来华留学本科生培养采取学分制。各培养单位制定培养计划，经学校教务处审查后备案。培养环节与中国本科生相同，其中公共必修课程按照《云南大学外国留学生通识教育平台课程》选课修读。
十二、学位
外国留学生攻读我校全日制本科学位，通过本科生课程考试，获得相应学分并通过论文答辩后，达到我国本科生学位要求的，颁发本科生毕业证书并授予学士学位。
十三、其它
1.留学生的日常工作由我校留学服务管理中心负责。
2.留学生办理来华手续所需费用自理。
3.本规定由国际学院负责解释。

Ⅰ. Student Categories

Ⅲ. Qualifications
1. Being of good character, obeying Chinese laws, observing Yunnan University's regulations, and respecting Chinese customs and public morals.
2. Health condition conforms with the "Health Examination Standards for Foreign Students" issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
3. Being of the age of 18

③ Original copy or notarized copy of high school transcripts.
④Photocopy of a valid passport and 6 passport-sized photos.
⑤ Other documents which may support your application, such as award-winning certificates and recommendation letters. These documents are not required but can help you be given appropriate priority of consideration.
⑥ Notarized translation must be provided if any of the documents above are not in Chinese or in English.

Ⅵ. Admission
The results of admission will be posted on the website of the School of International Education (http://www.sie.).The acceptance letter will be e-mailed to the qualified applicants and a hard copy of the acceptance letter will be posted later.
The start time for each academic year is in September. The specific date will be stated on the acceptance letter.
Ⅶ. Registration
International students who are admitted need to apply for a Student Visa at the Chinese Embassy by presenting their passport, Admission Letter, form JW201 or JW202
and the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. You can refer to the "Admission Notice" for the registration time and requirements. Freshmen need to provide the above materials to the Section of International Students Service，School of International Education, Yunnan University during registration.
Students who are not able to complete registration due to any reason need to ask for leave at School of International Education in writing(. If you do not register for over two weeks without any explanation, your admission qualification will be canceled.
Ⅷ. Accommodation

Ⅸ. Educational System
A flexible educational system is adopted by Yunnan University. It is usually 3-6 years for a Bachelor’s degreeand no longer than 6 years. Specific training programs will be made by each school and authorized by the Teaching Affairs Office,Yunnan University.
1. Application Fee
The application fee is 320 yuan/person/year. It will not be returned to the students who have not met admission qualification or not been admitted.
2. Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is 10,000 yuan/person/year.
International students should pay tuition according to the rules made by Chinese Ministry of Education and Yunnan University. Tuition should be paid before the registration of each year and can also be paid together by the educational system.
3. Accommodation Fee
Twin room:
450 yuan/month/person
Accommodation fee will be charged by year at the beginning of the first semester of each year. It can also be charged by the month in special circumstances.
4. The fee for textbooks is 600 yuan /person/year.（optional）
5. Insurance Fee
The insurance fee is600 yuan/person/year or 800 yuan/person/year and paid according to China’s regulations.
6. Residence Permit Fee
The residence permit fee is 400 yuan/person/year and paid according to China’s regulations.
7. The fee for health certificate is 450 yuan/ person/ year.
Ⅺ. Credit system
A credit system is adopted for international undergraduate education. Training plans will be discussed and made by each school according to subject and major training programs and will be checked and filed by Teaching Affairs Office,Yunnan University. The training process is the same as that for Chinese undergraduate students and public compulsory courses should be selected from Yunnan University General Education Courses Platform for Foreign Students.
Ⅻ. Degree
Full-time Bachelor’s degree candidates who have passed all the exams and thesis oral defense, earned all the credits and met the degree requirements will be awarded a graduation certificate and Bachelor’s degree diploma.
