我一生中最重要的一天，就是安妮·莎利文老师来到我身边的那一天——日。
在那个激动人心的下午，从母亲示意的动作以及人们进进出出、忙个不停的迹象中，我猜到会有不寻常的事发生。我走到大门边，坐在石阶上等待。温暖的阳光照在我的脸上，我的手指触到了鲜花和叶子，我意识到春天来临了。一连好几个星期我都感到纳闷和痛苦，感到疲倦和寂寞。我不能预测未来将带给我什么。
