名词一.名词的种类 名词可以分为专有名词和普通名词. 普通名词又可分为:个体名词,集体名词, 物质名词和抽象名词. 个体名词和集体名词可以用数目来计算,称为可数名词; 物质名词和抽象名词一般无法用数目计算,成为不可数名词. 二.名词的数 （1）.可数名词复数规则 1)．一般情况下，直接加-s，如：book-books， bag-bags， cat-cats， bed-
beds 2)．以 s. x. sh. ch 结尾，加-es，如：bus-buses， box-boxes， brush-brushes， strawberry-strawberries 4)．以“f 或 fe”结尾，变 f 或 fe 为 v， 再加-es，如：knife-knives 〕 Leaf--leaves 5).以 o 结尾的词有生命的加 es ,无生命的加 s.如:potato-potatoes, tomato- photo-photos, zoo-zoos. （2）．不规则名词复数： 1)变化内部元素。如：man-men， woman-women， policeman-policemen， policewoman-policewomen，foot-feet，。 tooth-teeth 2）词尾加 en，如：child-children ox-oxen 3）词形不变，即单复数同形。如： sheep-sheep， deer=deer 4）表示“某国人”的名词的复数如下： a.单复数形式相同（多以 ese 结尾）如：Chinese-Chinese， Japanese-Japanese ，Swiss-Swiss。 B．词尾加 s（多以 an 结尾）如：Russians 俄国人 德国人 Americans 美国人 Indians 印度人 Germans fish-fish， people-people， watch-watches 3)． 以 “辅音字母加 y” 结尾的词， 变 y 为 i，再加-es， 如： family-families，C．将 man 变成 men，将 woman 变成 women，如：Englishmen 英国人，Englishwomen 英国女人，Dutchmen 荷兰人。 2.不可数名词量的表示方法（1）用 much，a little，a lot of 等表示。如：much water 很多水，a little time 一点时间等。 （2）用容器表示。如：a bowl of rice 一碗米饭，a glass of water 一杯水， two pieces of paper 两页纸等。 3.注意只有复数形式的名词 trousers 裤子 arms 武器 sweepings 清洁物 scissors 剪刀 jeans 牛仔裤 4.不可数名词通常没有复数形式，但可借助单位词表示一定的数量。如： a piece of paper 一页纸 a cup of coffee 一杯咖啡 a glass of water 一杯水 a loaf of bread 一块面包 a bar of soap 一条肥皂 三.名词的所有格 名词的所有格表示所属关系，有两种构成方式，即‘s 所有格和 of 所有格。 1.‘s 所有格 (1)在大多数情况下，直接在名词后面加‘s，但若名词已带有复数词尾 s，则只 加 ’。 (2)如果复数名词词尾不带 s，则要加‘s。 (3)如果词尾为 s 的单数名词，通常仍加‘s 构成所有格。 (4)如果是带词尾‘s 的专有名词，所有格既可在末尾加’s，也可加‘。 (5)用 and 连接的并列连词的所有格分两种情况，表示各自的所有关系时，要 分别在名词后面加‘s；表示共同的所有关系时，只在最后一个名词后面加‘s。 2.of 所有格 如果名词所表示的事物是无生命的，我们就要用“名词+of+名词”的结构来表 示所有关系。如：the legs of the desk 桌子的腿 房间的门 注意：‘s 所有格主要用于有生命的东西，而 of 所有格则可用于有生命的东西， 也可用于无生命的东西。 3.双重所有格 the door of the room Glasses 眼镜 Thanks 感谢 Pants 裤子 Clippings 剪下的东西在英语中， 将 ‘s 所有格与 of 所有格结合起来所构成的所有格叫做双重所有格， 如 a friend of Lily’s 丽丽的一个朋友。 突破训练 一. 英汉互译 我的教室__________________ 猫的尾巴__________________ 纸__________________ a photo of my family__________________ bag__________________ 二.请写出下列名词的复数形式 hero_______ city_______ roof_______ zoo_______ child_______ country _______ tooth_______ mouse_______ boy_______ foot_______ map_______ bag_______ bus_______ tomato_______ baby_______ goose_______ wolf_______ leaf_______ potato______ watch_______ zoo_______ deer_______ mouse_____ foot_______ cow_______ people_______ ox_______ glass_______ box_______ man_______ knife_______ fly_______ city_______ woma n_______ roof_______ book_______ fox_______ photo__ _____ chair_______ boss_______ life_______ deer___ ____ sheep_______ fish_______ Japanese_______ 三.用所给名词的适当形式填空： 1.
