Show的意思大家都明白，就是“展示”，也是大家熟知的“秀”。像show
off（显摆）、show someone
around（带某人游览、参观）这样的短语大家也一定不陌生。但是有些跟show有关的短语，不一定是字面上所表示的意思，多半都有深层寓意，今天我们就来看几个这样的短语。

out来表示。接下来我们来看看有关女同性恋的不同说法。

1. She is a lipstick lesbian, I
她是女同性恋中的女生。
这个词可以泛指男同性恋和女同性恋，但是女同性恋自己还有一个专属的单词叫
lesbian，曾经看过中文有人取其音而直译为"蕾丝边"。Lesbian
这个词既可以当名词也可以当形容词，所以，"她是一个女同性恋"的讲法可以是："She is a lesbian." 或是 "She is
若要照性别角色细分的话，lesbian 又可分成 lipstick
lesbian 和 butch lesbian。所谓的 lipstick lesbian
就是指在一对女同性恋当中，角色比较倾向女生的那位，中文里的讲法叫"婆"。而 butch lesbian
不用说当然就是比较男性化的那位，中文的简称为"T"(意指 tomboy)。

她从生下来就很男性化。
用来指那些比较没有女孩子味的女生，她们可能喜欢留很短的头发，外表看起来很阳刚，喜欢玩传统观念认为是男生才有兴趣的东西。当然，并非所有的
tomboy 都是女同性恋，有些tomboy只是非常男性化、表现的比较阳刚罢了。
相较于女同性恋者有 tomboy，男同性恋者则有
sissy，意指"娘娘腔的人"。比方说："He talks like he is a sissy." (他讲起话来好像是个女生。)
当然，你也可以拿 sissy 当形容词用，比方说，"I'm not playing that sissy game with
you." (我才不跟你们玩那些女生玩的游戏呢！)

Push present is a present a new father gives a new mother when
she gives birth to their child. In practice the present may be
given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room.

近些年不少人在买房的同时也背上了巨额房贷，成为了homedebtor。Homedebtor指的是房贷数额特别巨大的人，有的大到这辈子也难以还清。
In the end, millions of homedebtors will lose their homes, the
homes they told everyone they "owned", the homes everyone told them
would "be a great investment".
最终，数百万身背巨额房贷的人将失去他们的房子，这个他们曾告知天下“属于自己的”房子，这个人人都说将是“非常好的投资”的房子。
These perpetual debtors/serfs will probably never own the home
outright, thanks to cyclical refinancing (used to fund conspicuous
consumption) and property taxes.

最高人民法院24日称，将禁止性侵未成年人的罪犯在缓刑期内从事和青少年相关的工作，以及出入学校和儿童聚集的场所。

courts," said Xi Xiaohua, director of Capital Normal University's
Juvenile Legal Social Work Research Center.
“劳改所的工人可以监视这些罪犯，把罪犯的表现上报给法院。”首都师范大学的未成年人法律社会工作研究中心的主任席小华（音译）说。
Criminal correction center就是“劳改所”。Court
verdict（判决书）下了以后，罪犯就会被移交劳改所，如果在劳改所表现良好，可能有机会获得probation（缓刑）。
法院下这一禁令是因为性侵儿童者的rate of
re-offending（重新犯罪的概率）比其他sex
criminals（性罪错人员）更高。相似的禁令也被用于economic crimes（经济犯罪）和domestic
violence（家暴），违令者将立刻被送回监狱。
