长治医学院座落在素有红色之都、魅力之城美誉的山西省长治市,位于长治市解放东街161号,是山西省教育厅直属的全日制普通高等医学院校。学校创建于1946年,是我党亲手创建的最早的医学院校之一。其前身是1946年“晋冀鲁豫军区白求恩国际和平医院总院”开办的护士学校,是在刘伯承、邓小平、薄一波等老一辈革命家的关怀下,由延安中央医院院长何穆博士亲手创建的。1948年开办和平医专,1958年改建为“晋东南医学专科学校”,1986年升格为本科院校,更名为长治医学院。1996年首批通过原国家教委本科教学工作合格评估。2004年通过国家教育部本科教学工作水平评估。2011年被国务院学位委员会批准为临床硕士专业学位研究生培养试点单位。2012 年在全国同类院校中率先通过教育部临床医学专业认证。
学校发扬“艰苦奋斗,自强不息”的太行精神,秉承“面向基层,德育为先”的办学传统,坚持“重质量、重实践、重特色”的办学理念,扎根老区,融入地方,面向全国,为基层医疗单位培养输送了近3万名高素质实用型医学人才。
学校历经70年的建设发展,形成了以医学及医学相关专业为龙头,融医学、工学、管理学、理学、教育学、文学、艺术学为一体的多学科相互渗透、协调发展的办学格局和集研究生教育、本科教育、职业教育、继续教育于一体的多层次人才培养体系。设有本科教学院(系、部)20个:第一临床学院、第二临床学院、基础医学院、护理学院、药学院、生物医学工程学院、精神卫生学院、人文艺术传媒学院、卫生信息与管理学院、公共卫生与预防医学系、医学影像学系、麻醉学系、医学检验学系、口腔医学系、儿科学系、思想政治理论课教学研究部、外语教学部、公共体育部、计算机教学部、继续教育学院。开设本科专业18个:临床医学、护理学、医学影像学、医学影像技术、生物医学工程、麻醉学、医学检验技术、精神医学、口腔医学、药学、信息管理与信息系统、应用心理学、康复治疗学、运动人体科学、音乐学、预防医学、医学实验技术、传播学。生源分布25个省、市、自治区,在校生人数为10632人,其中硕士研究生74人、本科生8474人、高职生111人、成教学生1973人。
学校(含两所直属附属医院)占地654.10亩(校本部321亩),建筑面积39.52万平方米(校本部15.3万平方米),固定资产总值达到12.9亿元(校本部3.40亿元),其中教学科研仪器设备总值5.99亿元(校本部0.83 亿元)。藏书53万册,中外期刊1200种,拥有万方数据资源系统、书生数字图书馆、生物医学外文资料服务系统、中国疾病知识总库等数据库,电子图书资源容量达6.8T。
国家级特色专业建设点和山西省品牌专业2个——临床医学专业和护理学专业;山西省特色专业4个——药学、医学影像学、医学检验技术、麻醉学专业;国家级精品资源共享课程1门——《内科学》;省级精品课程2门——《诊断学》、《外科学》;省级精品资源共享课程4门——《内科学》、《药理学》、《人体解剖学》、《基础护理学》;山西省高校首批重点实验室1个——血脂代谢与血液病实验室;山西省实验教学示范实验室7个——机能综合实验室、解剖综合实验室、临床技能中心、医学检验综合实验室、药学综合实验室、口腔医学实验教学中心、医学影像实验教学中心;省级示范中心1个——临床技能虚拟仿真实验教学中心。拥有直属三级甲等附属医院2所、非直属附属医院6所、教学实习医院60所、其他教学基地40个,可满足实践教学需要。
学校现有在编职工2706人(校本部892人),具有高级专业技术职务者373人,博士、硕士研究生导师39名。专任教师488人、临床教师566人,硕士以上645人。内科学教学团队为国家级教学团队,药理学教学团队为省级优秀教学团队。教学水平、人才质量、素质教育成绩明显,近五年,毕业生一次性就业率平均为78.8%,五年就业率100%,研究生考取率保持在20%以上,执业医师考试通过率在全国同类院校中位居前列。2011年—2016年,在全国高等医学院校大学生临床技能大赛上连续六年获得华北赛区一等奖,2012年获全国总决赛二等奖,2013年、2014年、2015年获全国总决赛三等奖。2015高教社杯全国大学生数学建模竞赛两支代表队获得国家一等奖。2009年—2015年,在全国大学生电子设计竞赛获国家级奖项1个,省级奖项44个。2008年,我校“地方医学院校临床医学专业人才培养模式创新实验区”获得省级立项。2012年,被教育部、卫生部批准成为全国第一批卓越医生教育培养计划项目试点高校。2013年,临床医学专业成为教育部“本科教学工程”地方高校第一批本科专业综合改革试点。近年来,学校共承担教学改革项目96项;获国家级教学成果二等奖2项,山西省教学成果一等奖2项、二等奖6项、三等奖6项。内科学为山西省重点建设学科。眼科学、外科学、肿瘤学、神经病学、妇产科学、生殖遗传学、病理学与病理生理学、生物化学与分子生物学、影像医学与核医学等9个校级重点学科,有血液病、心血管病、生殖遗传病、肿瘤、老年病、肝病等6个研究所。
2012年12月,国务院学位委员会批准我校成为“服务国家特殊需求人才培养项目”--学士学位授予单位培养临床医学硕士专业学位研究生试点工作单位,并于2013年开始首批招录和培养临床医学硕士专业学位研究生,办学层次取得了历史性突破。2014年,我校顺利通过了国务院学位委员会组织的培养硕士专业学位研究生试点工作的中期考核。目前已招收临床医学硕士专业学位研究生三届,专业领域涵盖临床医学中内科学、外科学、麻醉学等10个二级学科。2015级研究生与住院医师规范化培训实行并轨,临床实践能力培训在国家住院医师规培基地接受住院医师规范化培训。
近五年来,学校共承担各类科研项目168项,其中承担国家自然科学基金项目6项,省部级科研项目82项;获科研奖励19项,其中省部级奖励4项;发表论文1975篇,被SCI收录102篇;出版学术专著、主编参编教材366部。主办的《长治医学院学报》与全国100余所院校进行了科技期刊交流。
学校坚持开放办学,加大对外交流力度,先后选派教师赴美国、英国、加拿大、法国、南非、瑞典、澳大利亚、日本、台湾、香港等国家和地区进行访问研修、学术交流。邀请美国圣·路易斯大学医学院、加州大学、伊萨卡大学等著名专家学者来院讲学。与美国罗克福德学院、英国阿伯丁大学、韩国大田保健大学校等知名院校签订了合作协议,建立了友好合作关系。先后6次成功举办中美大学生文化交流活动,4次举办中美心血管疾病国际研讨会。此外,还举办了全国血液病新进展研讨会、全国生物医学工程教育研讨会、全国省(市、区)属医学院校合作年会等一系列有重要影响的学术会议。

A Brief Introduction to Changzhi Medical College
Changzhi Medical College (CZMC), is situated in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, which is honored as a famous red historic site (Chinese revolutionary site) and one of the China’s Top Ten Charming Cities in the year of 2004. It is located at No.161 Jiefang Dong Street. Changzhi Medical College is a full-time teaching-oriented medical college subordinated to Shanxi Education Committee. Founded in 1946, the college traces its origin to Nursing School of Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Bethune International Peace General Hospital, which was founded by He Mu, the then director of the Yan’an Central Hospital. The college received great concerns from veteran revolutionists such as Liu Bocheng, Deng Xiaoping, Bo Yibo and so on and is always considered one of the pioneer medical colleges founded by the Communist Party of China. In 1948, it was transformed to Peace Medical School. In 1958, it was rebuilt as the Medical School of Southeastern Shanxi. In 1986, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and was officially renamed Changzhi Medical College. In 1996, it passed the undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation organized by the former State Education Commission and in 2004, it passed the undergraduate teaching assessment of general higher education institutions organized by China’s . In 2011, it was authorized as a pilot unit for cultivating postgraduates for Master degree in Clinical Medicine by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council and in 2012, it was the first to acquire the Clinical Medicine Professional Accreditation from China’s Ministry of Education among the other similar medical colleges.
Carrying forward the Taihang Mount Spirit of “hard-struggle and self-improvement” and the Bethune Spirit of “striving for perfection”, adhering to the tradition of “grassroots-oriented education, moral education comes first”, and persevering with the mission of “focusing on the education quality, practice and characteristics”, Changzhi Medical College has rooted itself in the revolutionary base, integrated itself into the local and national development and have cultivated almost 30,000 high-quality and utility-type medical talents in the past decades.
Through 70 years of sustained construction, Changzhi Medical College has now developed into a well-coordinated college featuring studies in medicine and other medicine-related programs and covering engineering, management, science, pedagogy, literature and art. Besides, it also formed a multilevel talent-cultivation educational pattern, including graduate education, undergraduate education, professional education and continuing education. It has now 20 schools and departments, including the First Affiliated Hospital (the Peace Hospital in Changzhi city), the Second Affiliated Hospital (the Heji Hospital), the School of Basic Medical Science, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Bio-medical Engineering, the School of Mental Health, the School of Humanities, Arts and Communications, the School of Health Information and Management, the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, the Department of Medical Imaging, the Department of Anesthesiology, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, the Department of Stomatology, the Department of Pediatrics, the Department of Ideological and Political Theory Education, the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Public Physical Education, the Department of Computer Science and the School of Continuing Education.The college offers 18 undergraduate programs, including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Medical Imaging, Medical Imaging Technology, Bio-medical Engineering, Anesthesiology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Psychological Medicine, Stomatology, Pharmacy, Information Management and Information System, Applied Psychology, Rehabilitation Science, Human Sport Science, Musicology, Preventive Medicine, Medical Experimental Technology and Communication Studies. The students body totals 10,632, consisting of 74 graduate students, 8,474 undergraduate students, 111 vocational college students, 1,973 adult education college students, who come from 25 provinces, municipalities and

hospitals) covers a total area of 43.6067 hectares
395,200 square meters. The value of the total fixed assets reaches 1.29 billion yuan (the main campus occupies 0.34 billion yuan), in which the total value of teaching and scientific
facilities takes up 0.599 billion yuan (the main campus accounts for 0.083 billion yuan). The college has two directly affiliated s, six indirectly affiliated hospitals, sixty clinical teaching and training hospitals and other 40 teaching bases, which can all together meet the needs of teaching and practice training.
The college has a staff of 2,706 (892 on the main campus), with 373 holding different senior professional titles and 39 being master and doctoral supervisors. It has 488 full-time teachers and 566 clinical teachers, of which 645 hold postgraduate degree or higher. The Internal Medicine Teaching Team is recognized as the state-level teaching team and the Pharmacology Teaching Team is recognized as the provincial excellent teaching team.In recent years, the college has achieved fruitful results in the process of improving teaching efficiency, enhancing the quality of talents and focusing on the quality-oriented education. In the past five years, the college enjoys an average employment rate of 78.8% each year and according to the latest survey, almost 100% of the students could get employed within five years after graduation. The students’ passing rate for the postgraduate examinations remains over 20% and the one for Practitioners Exam (the China’s medical licensing examination) ranks among the front row among other similar colleges in the country. In 2016, the college won the first prizes in the northern China division in China’s Clinical Skills Competition for College Students in Higher Medical Colleges and Universities again, and it has retains the title 5 times since 2011. And it also won the second prize in the national finals in 2012 and the third prize in the years of , 2015 respectively. In 2015, the college’s two teams won the first prize in China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling by Higher Education Press.In 2008, the college’s research subject titled Innovative Experimental Area of Clinical Medicine Professional Training Mode in Regional Medical Colleges was approved and supported by the provincial government. In 2012, it was authorized to be one of the first pilot colleges in the Physician Education and Training Program of Excellence. In 2013, its Clinical Medicine Discipline was listed as one of the first regional colleges’ comprehensive reforming experimental Disciplines in Higher School Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Project. In recent years, the college undertakes ninety-six teaching reforming projects, of which two won the second prize of the National Award for Education Results, two won the first prize of Provincial Award for Education Results, six won the second prize of Provincial Award for Education Results, and six won the third prize of Provincial Award for Education Results.Internal Medicine is selected as one of the key provincial constructive disciplines. There are nine college-level key disciplines, including Ophthalmology, Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reprogenetics, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. The college also has six research institutes, including the institutes of Blood Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, Reproductive and Hereditary Disease, Tumor and Liver Disease.
Being a bachelor degree-conferring unit, the college was authorized as a pilot unit for cultivating postgraduates for master degree in Clinical Medicine by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council in December of 2012 as part of the national talents training project of meeting special needs. In 2013, it began to recruit and cultivate postgraduates for master degree in , which can be viewed as the historical breakthrough of the college’s schooling level. In 2014, the college passed the mid-term examination organized by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council and up to now, it has recruited three grades of students, whose majors cover ten second-tier disciplines under Clinical Medicine, such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology and so on. In 2015, the college squares the postgraduate training with the Standardized Residents Training in Hospital and the postgraduates’ clinical practice training is being carried out in the Standardized Residents Training Base Hospitals.
In the past five years, the college has undertaken 168& scientific projects, with six programs supported by the National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) and 82 projects . It also won 19 scientific awards, with 4 at ministerial and provincial level.
Changzhi Medical College pays close attention to international cooperation and exchanges and has established cooperative ties with universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Korea and so on. The modes of cooperation and exchanges include exchange of faculty members, joint research, joint sponsoring of international academic conferences and exchange of academic journals.
