Coffee has been a part of people’s lives for thousands of years, and today it is still one of the favorite drinks in the world. Many people in the world begin their busy day by drinking a cup of coffee or several cups of coffee. ReadingComprehension In the last 500 years, nothing about people---not theirclothes, ideas, or languages—has changed as much as what they eat. The originalchocolate drink was made from the seeds of the cocoa tree（ 可可树 ）bySouth American Indians. The Spanish introduced it to the rest of the worldduring the 1500’s. 我来自湖北襄樊四中，今年湖北高考理科状元出自我校，比全省第二名高出将近20分，这在全国也很少见。我校是湖北省级重点学校仅就高考而言各项综合指标仅次于华师附中。针对你的提问，在对状元的采访中涉及到了。英语阅读理解图书重点推荐各个击破2本，暑假每日做成10篇，只管做不要在意正确率，但要对答案，无心栽柳柳成荫，一个月后你的英语阅读能力将回提高至少百分之百。状元就是这样学英语的。

不是我泼你冷水，只是个人觉得如果真要做阅读理解，还不如做完型填空。学好英语的几个方面就是：记笔记，一本好的语法书（魔法英语、各个击破-语法都可以），几套高考模拟试卷，再加上一本专门的完型填空（100篇，有15个选项和20个选项的）。语法书要从头到尾认真看，认真做，做过了要反思理解，为什么会错。而模拟试卷（如38套），都要当成高考试卷一样对待，认真做，每次都打分（不算听力和写作），看看有没有进步，做错的题目连同平时练习、考时遇到的易错题、经典题要记到一个专门的本子上（其他科目也是如此），有空就翻出来看看。而选择完型填空是因为它是好几个题型的综合：涉及到单项选择、阅读理解和改错。你必须要在空缺词的情况下把文章看懂，锻炼好了这个能力对付没有空缺词的阅读理解就容易了。再说那几套模拟试卷中包含的阅读理解也不少，每个都要认真做，做过的要看看错在何处。完型填空每天做一篇，方法就是：先看一遍，再做两遍，最后检查。买完型填空要注意里面排版的字要小（容量就大），内容和你们平时遇到的要类似，不要买太古老的。个人看法，仅供参考。
