①根据题意,正方形的边长分别为 x/4 和 y/4两个正方形的面积之差为 (x/4)^2 - (y/4)^2 = 40
②根据式②有 x^2 - y^2 = 40*16根据平方差公式 x^2 - y^2 = (x+y)(x-y)=40*16因为①所以 x-y=16
③①+③得 2x=56
