写英语改错题应从以下三个方面入手：
一、&通读全文，了解文章大意。捉住文章大意是改错的前期条件，只有明白文章所围绕的主题，才能更好地从全局上把握句子间的联系以及词汇的使用。
二、&拆分句子。在把握文章大意的前提下，依据逻辑语法来判断句子结构是否正确。如：句子应该是肯定句还是否定句、句子是否为从句以及为何种从句等等。
三、&最后一步从词汇上各个突破。根据文章语境，确定动词时态。根据句子结构，确定用词词性以及形态。例如：when his mother was out, the telephone rang and jimmy anwered them 一句中，只有理解了文章大意，并且把握句子前后结构才能指出jimmy answered 的是前面的 telephone，所以answered 之后的宾语应当为 it 而不是them。另外，在词汇层面的纠错，还可以从一些固定搭配或词组入手。如 the way to, be interested in, listen to 等等。
