第二题的意思是& &一个人如果想拿退休金，条件是他在公司已工作的年数(the number of years of employment )+他的年纪(an employee’s age)&=70.现在 X 是一个人刚被雇进公司的年纪，Y是他工作了的年数。注意啦，那一个人工作了Y年后，他的年纪就变成了X+Y。根据最初的式子，算他是否够条件拿退休金，就是Y+(X+Y)=70
ABCD是一个正方形，边长为1，而BE=DE所以CE和CB之间所成的夹角ECB为135度
那么三角形BCE的面积=1/2 * CE * CB * sin ECB = 1/2 * 1 * 1 * 二分之根号二 = 四分之根号二
这题是平面图形，不要当成立体图形做了

我觉得那个比率就可以啦。(4000y)/(x+y),因为x=2y,可以算出来的啊。

密码是要考虑顺序的，求排列数，而不是求组合数，就是5位的排列总数比4位排列的总数，每个字母用一次
10×9×8×7×6
10×9×8×7
两个相除就是6了
这个我当时也做错了，找到了牛人的解释，现在贴上来~↓
M剧场有25排座位，每排有27个座位。问在一场表演中究竟多少个座位被占了。
条件1：前20排座位每排空座的算术平均值为10
条件2：后15排座位每排空座的算术平均值为15
条件1能得出前20排occupied的seats是：（27-10）*20
条件2能得出后15排occupied的seats是：（27-20）*15
但不能得出后5排的occupied的seats，因为已知的条件给的是平均数，没法算出部分的具体数。就是说，你画个集合大饼图，这里有个交集算了两次，你必须减去一次的才能得出最终答案。但是你不知道交集数是多少，
所以，两个条件加在一起也得不出整个25排的 occupied&&seats ，所以选E
设今年存了x花了y
则明年取出来x（1+r）
令x（1+r）=y/2则得出y=2x（1+r）
要求的fraction=x/x+y=x/x(2r+3)=1/2r+3

至于25套的21题，那图我觉得画的不准确，思路应该是
最后15分钟的路程/（1/4)小时--前45分钟的路程/(3/4)小时
竖坐标是reid 从学校到家的距离，纵坐标就是所花的时间。
GWD有些题可以忽略，把PREP和鸡精做好，GWD为辅~

2-height 题是GMAT数学部分常考的一个题型。因为题中会给出一个关于2-height的定义, 所以G友通常称之为2-height题。以下来自CD论坛
举个例子吧，40=2*2*2*5，即2的三次方乘以5，3就是2-height 的值，再如12=2*2*3，即2的二次方乘以3，所以2就是2-height 的值。
总的来说，就是把一个整数分解成质数的乘积，其中2的幂就是2-height 的值。

1. X is a positive integer. 2-height of X is defined as the greatest negative integer n where 2^n is a factor of X. K and M are two positive integers. Whether 2-height of K is greater than 2-height of M?
a. K is greater than M
b. K is even times of M

题义解析：说对于含2的n次方的数, 2-height 指的是n的值。问k和m谁的2-height大？
(2) K除以M是偶数.
(please notice K,k; M,m; e)
K = a* 2^k;
M = b* 2^m;
(1) k&m, means nothing.
(2) k/m= (a/b) * (2^k/2^m) = 2^e;
A, b must be odd number, or you can extract at least one more 2, which gonna change k or m. So in this case, (a/b) must be 1, otherwise it would be a fraction.
In a word, k-m=e. K&m.
B is sufficient.

AX+BY=4080
so&&,A=60000-B, X=3/4*Y
AX+BY=4080
=(60000-B)*3/4*Y+BY=4080
=[(60000-B)*3/4*Y]/BY=3/2
由上可知，二元二次方程，是可以解出来的

举例有{27, 28, 29, 36) or {27, 28, 32, 33},&&insufficient.
(2) 9, 10 are in the set
举例{9, 10, 50, 51} or {9, 10, 11, 90}, : insufficient.
一起来看：
From (2), 剩下的两个未知数之和为120-19 = 101.
If all terms are & 60, and the last two terms sum to 101, 那最大的数也只能是59.9999 ，第二个是数一定大于30& && && && &&&所以C
第二题 （18b+11）/8=[16b+8+(2b+3)]/8 余数结果不唯一，随B的值变化而变化

GWD和PREP数学难度相差很大，别被GWD迷惑了！
我下午刚做了prep2，v41,m34, 710.  数学错了14个，汗……语文错8个。比prep1：v37, m50, 720反而还退步了。数学觉得好难啊，而且时间不够，最后两题猜的。11号一战，nn们给出点主意，怎么提高数学啊？我原来担心prep破解做完了模考就不准了，从明天开始研究prep破解，希望有提高。看来gwd骗人的，我做gwd一般都错7以内，最好的1。prep2让我惊醒了，如果不重视，我的数学50分不保啊。最近语文复习很有心得，考完写机井的时候再写复习心得。

我数学也很差，做了prep差点崩溃了，有一种白痴的感觉～

看了这个帖子，昨天特意做了50道prep数学（30道ds，20道ps），发现正确率和gwd差不多，都是错5个（prep的都错在ds，真是晕啊），但是感觉明显不同：一是时间耗费多很多。gwd做过两套数学都是提前20分钟完成，prep正好卡着点。二是耗费精力相差很大，gwd很基础，无须伤神。prep让我有焦虑感，可能是pace的问题；而且，有至少5道ds题我做完后又修改答案，因为发现之前考虑不周。本来觉得数学没啥问题，现在看来，很惊险，还是要花时间练习啊。[此贴子已经被作者于 18:35:53编辑过]

研究过jj就好了。我没有做过gwd，去年一战的时候做perp ds1的时候，错了很多，觉得prep很难，模考都错十几个的。后来没什么时间，就把jj做了3遍，一开始也有不少错题，后来参与了不少讨论，考试数学觉得不难。最近做perp2，觉得没有印象中的难，当然还是会中陷阱。我做perp主要是为了熟悉英文做题啦，毕竟jj大都是中文
