金融就是中英文授课那个,在nanyang business school。学费48000新币,有点点偏贵。应用经济学是hss下面的。
求问两个专业的区别和今后在坡县留下工作的发展情况。希望对我选择有所帮助。

finance的老师过来宣讲过,感觉课程设置蛮不错,而且是在商学院下面,唯一坑的是第一学期有几门课程是中文授课,但绝大部分有英文授课。 毕业去向比较明确。
AE项目学费便宜,但是设在HSS下有些尴尬,总是毕业后方向不明确。

别去金融,很水,课程一半都是中文授课,而且如果你本科是金融相关的去读这个很吃亏。这个项目入学门槛也低,见到过双非的,均分低于80的,雅思6分的去读这个项目。招生数量巨大基本都是中国人过去扎堆。而且很多去读这个项目的人是大学本科背景一般且工作很多年的人,应届生去读无优势。建议应用经济!全英文教学,偏重计量金融与金融经济,招生人数少,课堂教学质量高,学费不会盈利化!来ae

我也正在纠结要不要申请ae呢。。本科人力资源管理想学一些金融方面的东西,将来进入金融行业工作。国立的ae毕业之后可以进入金融行业吗?求问求问!!!

OBJECTIVES
This programme is designed for students
who wish to advance their studies in how the economy works in a globalized
environment. The programme which has an applied orientation requires students
to undertake in addition to core theory courses, a variety of modules in
various areas such as financial economics, economic development and policies,
and international economics. All classes of the programme will be conducted in
the evening.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have a good NUS
Honours degree (second class and above) or the international equivalent (e.g.,
a four-year Bachelors degree with at least an average grade of B or equivalent)
in the subject or related field (e.g., finance, accounting, mathematics,
statistics, physics, engineering, operations research); or a good Bachelors
degree (at least an average grade of B or equivalent) in the subject or
related field and successful
completion of a placement test
which is in the form of an oral interview to be conducted by at least three
members of the Applied Economics Committee.
Applicants whose native tongue and medium of
university instruction is not English should submit the Test of English as a
Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System
(IELTS) as evidence of their proficiency in the English language.
The following minimum TOEFL score is
- 85 for the internet-based test (with a minimum score of 22 for the writing section); or
- 580 for the paper- or
- 237 for the computer-based test.
Alternatively, an IELTS result of
6.0 is required.&
The maximum period for the
completion of the Master of Social Sciences (Applied Economics) programme is 36
months of full-time study or 48 months of part-time study from the commencement
of the programme. The maximum periods include the time allowed for approved
study leave but may exclude periods of leave of absence subject to Faculty
A full-time candidate must complete at least three modules in a semester and
may complete up to a maximum of five modules in a semester. A part-time
candidate must complete at least one module in a semester and may complete up
to a maximum of three modules in a semester.
Of the ten modules, three will be core
foundation modules that are required of all students. The students are free to
choose the other seven elective modules to take.

Not all modules may be offered in
any particular academic year. Module offerings will depend on student interest
and staff availability.
* In lieu of these compulsory modules
a candidate may opt to take EC5101 Microeconomic Theory, EC5102 Macroeconomic
Theory, and EC5103 Econometric Modelling and Applications I from the Master of
Social Sciences (by Research) Programme.
ASSESSMENT
The assessment for each module will
be based on a combination of examination and continuous assessment. An
examination will be held at the end of each semester of study.
Where a module is required for the graduate candidature and the minimum grade is not met, a student may repeat:
- the same module (core or elective) only once. The improved grade point of the repeat/replaced module will replace the weaker one in the CAP computation in the semester in which the succes and
- one‐ hird of the curricular requirements not exceeding three modules, whichever is lower.
A Masters candidate’s Cumulative Average Point (CAP) should not fall below 2.50 for two consecutive semesters or 3.00 for three consecutive semesters.
A student will be issued a warning/probation for any semester in which his/her CAP falls below that required for graduation (3.00 for a Masters degree). If, in the following semester, the student’s CAP again falls below the graduation requirement, but not sufficiently to warrant immediate termination, he/she will be placed on probation.
Termination of candidature will result if a student fails to maintain the minimum CAP as stipulated.
A candidate must obtain a minimum CAP of 3.00 at
the end of the course of study before he/she can be considered for the award of
SCHOLARSHIPS
scholarships of $5,000 each
will be awarded annually to students with the best academic performance
in the core modules (i.e.,
ECA5101, ECA5102 and ECA5103).

FEES AND PAYMENT
The tuition fee for the AY
intake is $37,000
(inclusive of GST) for the entire program for all students
irrespective of nationality.

Payment should be made in installments
as scheduled below:

o& $11,000 by 13 August 2018
Students who wish to take additional
modules or who need to repeat a module must pay $3,700 per module in AY.

1. Cheque/Bankdraft - Address payee as &National University of Singapore& and post it together with the application form.
2. NETS - Make payment at NUS Student Service Centre personally with payment form, and submit the proof of payment with the application form thereafter.
3. Online Payment by any
of the methods (available only for online application)
- VISA, Mastercard or AMEX
- Debit Card (applicants must have an online banking account with either
of the following banks - POSB/DBS, UOB or Citibank).
Fee and Other Fees:
- Payment can be made via GIRO for convenience.
- Other acceptable modes of payment include cheque, bank draft/cashier's order, credit card, internet banking.
- Penalty charges will be levied on late payments.
APPLICATION
Important:& The University has not
engaged any external agencies to undertake graduate student recruitment on its
behalf.& Candidates interested in our graduate programmes are advised to
apply directly to the University and not through any agents.& Candidates
who apply through agents will not have any added advantage in gaining admission
and the University reserves the right to reject such applications without
giving reasons.
Inaccurate or false information or omission of material information or no application fee payment will render your application invalid. The University reserves the right to reject applications that are incomplete or inaccurate.
Applications for admission are
available online as well as via paper. You are advised to apply online.
Please note that even though an
application is submitted online, relevant supporting documents must be sent via
post. In order for you to be considered for a specific intake, your online
application, payment and available supporting documents must all reach us by
the relevant deadlines.

application system will be available
(link to FASS) during the
application period (1 October to 15 January the following year). More information on
the application procedures can be found

Application for the programme must be accompanied by an application fee of S$50.00 (inclusive of GST) which is not refundable.
The outcome of application will be made known by end May.

如标题,本人主修是文科economics想在大二转商学院(欢迎专业相同的小伙伴抱团~我是妹子)。必修课已经选好了但是选选修课纠结有迷茫。发邮件给UA询问怎么选选修课回复是说要选能够拉高GPA的课程(不一定要与Business有关~)所以想请教一下各位学姐学长有没有什么方便拿高分的课程推荐给我~拜托啦!
