这些是距离单位,不是速度单位.AU/sec表示在地球公转轨道半长径的两个端点看来1角秒的视差所对应的天体距离,称为秒差距（Parsec）,缩写为pc,1pc=1AU/sec=3.2616光年.AU为天文单位,表示日地平均距离,1AU等于地球公转轨道半长径；sec是second（秒）的缩写,这里是角度单位.理论上可以类似于AU/sec来定义pc/sec,也就是长度为1pc的直线段两个端点看来1角秒的视差对应的距离,1pc/sec=672760光年=6.千米.但是pc这个单位太大,用pc作为基准来测量1角秒的视差是无法做到的.

1角秒等于1度的3600分之一。所谓视差，举个例子，当你在某一位置看远处的物体，比如正北边的一棵树，当你沿东西方向走动到另一位置时，你会发现那棵大树已经偏离了正北方，那个偏离正北方的角度就是所谓的视差，准确说是那棵大树相对于你刚才走动前后的那两个位置的视差。
