公布的“YouthLA翻译清单(第四轮)”如下,其中附有英文标题、摘要及原文缩略图。请活动参加者仔细阅读,根据自己兴趣择选。特别提请各位参与者注意的是:
基于以往活动翻译与校对工作脱节等问题,参与本次活动者,在认领一篇翻译文章的同时必须认领另一篇校对。
这次将采用活动申请表来收集信息;如有两个人欲申请同一文章,填写一份表单即可。
由于文章数量有限,文章择选重复情况极易发生,分配将以先到先得为原则。
希望参与活动的志愿者请填写活动申请表(见文末)并提交。通过邮箱申请视为无效申请。在文章翻译及校对过程中,志愿者通过translation@youthla.org与翻译工作组汇报进度及咨询其它相关事项。
申请及译文进行过程中,请注意:
为了让更多的朋友通过YouthLA认识辛勤的幕后志愿者,我们会将志愿者的名字添加到认领文章的后面。您一旦被认定为文章翻译者,我们将在三天后与您联系,并将待译文章发去。
请认真阅读并遵照《文章翻译要求》、《译文校对要求》。
为了保证效率及质量,YouthLA原则上赞成独立翻译或者不多于2人合作。并希望已经择选文章的志愿者,能在1-2个月的时间周期内完成译稿,译稿完成并通过审定合格后,将交由相应校对人进行文章校对,之后予以发表。如志愿者完成的译文,不能达到标准译文要求,则YouthLA有权退回译稿,希望重新翻译。如志愿者未能在规定时间周期内完成译稿,YouthLA将收回该文章的翻译权,重新择选志愿者继续该文的翻译工作。

译文校对要求
校对尺度的把握
外文的校对,很关键一点是要在原外文和译文之间把握好尺度,要相比于中文稿的校对困难些。请大家务必准备好原英文稿时时参照,力求尊重原稿;同时,在译文的修改过程中,请尽量保有原译者的文风。
重视译校双方合作
请校对者根据文稿中翻译者的邮箱信息,与翻译者保持联系。提交至YouthLA翻译工作组处的定稿必须为译校双方共同认定。
