最热的在美国加利福利亚州的死谷：53.9℃中国：最热的在吐鲁番盆地：47.9℃。
最冷在北极村漠河：-52.3℃。
论年均温：世界最热：埃塞俄比亚的达洛尔盆地：年均温34-35℃。世界最冷：东南极洲高原：年均温-55℃以下中国最热：忽略有争议区域的话是三亚：年均温26℃左右。中国最冷：忽略一切超高海拔峰顶的话是青藏高原的五道梁：年均温约-6℃。
