(一)教材的作用和地位
&牛津英语&教材把语言结构、语言功能和主题内容有机地结合起来,因此语言信息输入量大,选材广泛,主体有序,内容集中,学习内容非常贴近学生生活实际和思想实际。牛津英语8A教材以Chapter为学习单元,与高中教材体系基本接轨,分为Reading、Listening、Language、Speaking、Using English、Writing and More practice,训练更全面,更有针对性,更加侧重读与写。本课是Chapter 3 Dealing with trouble 的第一课时,学生对一篇日记的学习后,初步了解日记的格式与书信的格式不同点,并且对课文中的robbery有所了解后,对学生的自我保护意识有所帮助;并且复习与课文有关的上海交通工具,增大信息量,使学生学会主动学习。
(二)教学目标:
1、知识目标:1、学习单词dial,argue(argument), purse,deal with,crowd,railing, detail, handcuff 等。
2、课文的阅读和理解。
2、能力目标:1、培养学生的阅读理解能力。
2、提高学生自然运用英语交流的能力。
3、情感目标:通过讨论提高学生自我保护意识,渗透情感教育。
(三)重点:1、通过阅读猜出生词的意思。
2、描述一个难忘或有趣的经历。
难点:用英语阐述自己的观点及想法。
关键:对课文的理解和把握。
二、说教法
(一)教学设计的原则
以学生发展为本,开展合作学习。
教学中尽可能发挥学生的主动性和合作精神,营造良好的学习氛围,在交流中提高学生的语言表达能力。
追求和谐的课堂活动
在民主、平等的氛围中,在科学和和谐的教学活动中从分发挥学生的主体性,尽大限度处理好教师、学生、教材等关系,达到优化教学。努力在课堂教学中,有意识的让学生去感知、理解,不断地感悟。
(二)教学手段
1、直观教学:运用多媒体辅助教学,利用一些色彩鲜艳的图片,吸引学生的注意力,加深学生的印象,提高学生的学习兴趣。
2、趣味教学:把课文内容形象化,把课堂知识由学生的间接需要变成直接需要,引发学生学习的积极性。
三、说学法
1、 通过学生个别回答问题,考察学生对日常生活的观察能力。
2、学习小组的活动,加强团队合作意识和竞争意识。
3、朗读单词、课文,及时正音,训练学生的朗读能力。
4、借助对子活动用肢体语言表达,让学生猜词活动,增强课堂教学的活力及趣味性。
四、教学过程:
Step 1 pre-task preparation
1、围绕本课内容,用本章节前的卡通人物的交谈,了解到本章节所要学的知识&&和交通工具有一定关系,学生很快进入状态。
2、接着呈现出有关上海的一些交通工具图片,复习交通工具的名称,个别学生回答老师提出的问题,作一个有关数字的测试,随后引入求救电话号码,为课文的引入作好铺垫。

通过对前面问题的呈现,学生结对子活动对

We dial &to call& 进行操练,引出其他一些有关关的查询号码,考察学生在日常生活中的能力,完成A-What do you know about&?接下来告诉学生本课所需学的课文是一篇日记,告诉学生什么是日记,简单说明日记与书信的区别,自然过渡到课文,要求学生在阅读前看文中的title、subtitle、pictures后,让学生讨论后回答发生了什么事?老师再进行指点完成B-Look and think,培养、训练了学生的阅读技巧及观察能力,为课文阅读、理解进一步作好了铺垫。
Step 3 Reading procedure
1.让学生默读课文后,对课文内容已大致了解,然后要求学生完成Task-1 Do T or F exercise, 并校对以核查理解情况;随后教师带读课文加深学生对课文的理解及对单词的正音,之后要求学生单独做Task-2 根据课文回答问题,为了活跃课堂气氛,安排游戏时间,一学生用肢体语言表达意思,另一学生猜词,然后出示单词图片然学生说出单词,学生积极性较高。
2.为Step 4 作准备,要求学生做Task3&Read and think学生听录音校对答案,即训练学生的听力能力,又达到对知识的巩固与运用。并校对答案;
Step 4 Post- task activity
小组讨论:How can proect ourselves form being robbed and deal with the robbery? 学习小组的成员在一起讨论后整理再由组长发言阐述他们的观点,各组都有很多想法,尽管有些不够成熟,但同学们的兴趣很高,有一定的自我保护意识;在合作学习中把情感教育融入到课堂教学中,达到了教学目的。
Step 5 Assisnment
开放式的作业是牛津英语教材的特点,可以从分发挥学生的潜力,因此我布置以下作业:
1、根据所学课文要求学生写一篇日记,锻炼写作能力;
2、小组为单位将课文改变成课本剧表演,激发兴趣,培养表演能力。当前位置:

&&&& Living and dealing with kids can be a tough job these days, but living and dealing with parents can be even tougher. &&&& If I have learned anything in my 16 years, it is that communication is very important, both when you disagree and when you get along. With any relationship, you need to let other person know how you are feeling. If you are not able to communicate, you drift apart. When you are mad at your parents, or anyoneelse, not talking to them doesn't solve anything. &&&& Communication begins with the concerns (关心) of another. It means that you can't just come home from school, go up to your room and ignore (不理睬) everyone. Even if you just say"Hi", and see how their day was for five minutes, it is better than nothing.&&& &If you looked up the word "communication" in a dictionary, it would say"the exchange of ideas, the conveyance (表达) of information, correspondence (通信), means of communication: a letter or a message".To maintain (保持) a good relationship, you must keep communication strong. Let people know how youfeel, even if it's just by writing a note. &&&& When dealing with parents, you always have to make them feel good about how they are doing as aparent. If you are trying to make them see something as you see it, tell them that you'll listen to what they have to say, but ask them politely to listen to you. Yelling or walking away only makes the situation worse. &&&& This is an example: one night, Sophie went to a street party with her friends. She knew she had to be home by midnight after the fireworks, but she didn't feel she could just ask to go home. That would be rude.After all, they had been nice enough to take her along with them. Needless to say, she was late getting home.Her parents were mad at first, not when Sophie explained why she was late, they weren't as mad and let theincident go. Communication is the key factor here. If Sophie's parents had not been willing to listen, Sophie would have been in a lot of trouble. &&&& Communication isn't a one-way deal: it goes both ways. Just remember: if you get into a situation like Sophie's, telling the other person how you feel-listening is the key factor to communication.

Usually pressure stems from the fear of failure. Fear of failure comes from the reactions we have seen in others or ourselves when we don’t excel at something. That fear then continues to build pressure in us when confronted with the same situation over and over again. These kinds of reactions form a belief in us. It’s not that we believe we’ll fail but we know that the reaction to failure is uncomfortable or unpleasant. Under pressure, good pressure performers and poor pressure performers differ in two main ways: 1. Good pressure performers operate in a peak stress state under pressure. They experience the pressure as a challenge and they move into their peak stress state. This is a state of energy and intensity at which they perform their best. 2. A top performer will see pressure as a positive thing. It’s their chance to shine. The poor performer will see pressure as a negative thing and will begin worrying about the possible negative reaction to a failed outcome. This makes success highly unlikely.
